DIVE REPORT

Wow!! What a start for the new dive season in Tioman after the monsoon. Sunny saturday morning and the weather was favourable for diving, especially there were quite a number of open water diver students, current was mild for most of the dives. i was conducting the open water training dives for 5 open water students, who were from the media industry. They had successfully completed the 4 training dives with me as well as passed the open water exam . Congrates !! Ken, zhiwei, katsy, celeste and rainie. Dive report for the weekend as follows:

Tomok Island - 1st dive. Awesome !! visibility approximately 15 metres. The mini car wreck remains intact and green turtle was found hovering around the wreck, despite divers was checking out the wreck. It was a good sign !! Turtle seems to be more friendly toward the divers, in particular the one in tomok.

Soyah Island - 2nd dive. Visibility was approximately 10 metres. As usual the titian trigger fish never fail to greet us. The giant golden seafan on the south of the island was not destroyed, and it seems to be more vibrant than last season.. Humphead parrot approximately the length of 1 metres was checking out the divers at approximately 5 metres.. Swim away from us, when one of the divers was also excited and fin frantically toward the humphead.

Labas a.k.a bird shit island -3rd dive. Visibilty was approximately 20 meters. Sighted only some common garoupers and blue spotted rays. Nothing to shout about !! What actually excites me was the swim through around the boulders which was always the highlight for this dive site.

Instead of the a la carte dinner, which we used to have for the past few dive season, for this new season, all meals will be served in buffet style. As usual was hanging out with the dive crews from paya cove at the beach bar. I will never miss the belachan stingray and Muar o-tah amidst the long wait and slight drizzling.

Chebeh - 4rd dive. Visibility was approximately 15 metres. Together with grace, i was assisting her to teach the open water training dive 3. I can only remember some of the students. Kunshan, weijia, ken, robert, xxx, and xxx.

Renggis island - 5th dive. Visibility approximately 15 metres. Giant cuttle fish mating, black tip reef shark as well as abundance of giant moray eels.

For the active adventure diver, joined our organized dive trips and diving vaction around South -Sea asia including short weekend getaways to Pulau Tioman and Pulau Redang in malaysia. Or you can experience world class diving around the region at dive spots in Andaman Sea, Indonesia and Philippines.

Happy and safe diving
