17 Sep ~ 22 Sep, Bali ( Day 4)

Anything about food, yes, no doubt, he will be the best commentator. Reckon you must have put on weight during the trip. My bad !!

Before we check out from Nirwana Resort, we experienced earthquake while having our breakfast. There was no damage but the slight tremor was unforgettable



Highlight of our dive in Bali. Yes, we sighted the largest bony oceanic sunfish aka Mola Mola. The MM was at approx 40 m, we couln't go deeper than the no decompression limit, but we saw it at a shallower depth. Yes, objective achieved. Unfortunately, there was no pics nor video taken, but i hope my manta ray video clip will you excite to join us for next year Bali dive trip

17 Sep ~ 22 Sep, Bali (Day 3)

Manta was so friendly. Simply glide above the divers. One metre above the divers.


Sighted a least 8 manta ray in manta point. Indeed the magnet site for this majestic creatures. Water temperature was around 20 degrees celsius

Once again, bounce into another group of Singaporean who is on the same trip to Nusa Penida for Mola Mola and Manta dives.




Padang Bai, south east of bali. There is plenty of dive resort in this quiet town. Travel from here to Nusa Penida takes approx 20 mins.

17 Sep ~ 22 Sep, Bali (Day 2)


Tulamben Wreck was an easy dive sight, abundance of dancing shrimp, leaf pipe fish, of course the macro pygmy seahorse. Current was mild, visibility about 2o m. Coral garden, 10 m away from the resort, rays and ribbon eels, Drop off, was excellent, visibility was about 25 m, puffer fish, different species of nudibranches can be found in this site

This year the surge was mild as compare to the year before. Thanks to the Baliness god that make our shore entry with not much challenges ;)

Coincidentally, patrick, my thai friend, was in Bali for the MM expedition. We meet up at the Espresso bar along Legian street, to catch up those good old days when i was in BKK and Phuket.
